Bolier delivered the first MaK marine diesel engine (6M25E) with a Cat SCR System solution. The MaK E-engines are equipped with the Modular Alarm Control System (MACS) which ensures optimal communication between the diesel engine and the SCR package. Therefore, optimal IMO III results can be reached at all times.

The Cat SCR System solution was designed by Caterpillar® especially for MaK medium-speed engines to meet IMO III emissions requirements. Installation and operation of the Cat SCR System is a sustainable solution to reduce NOx emissions without sacrificing the typical MaK marine engine efficiency, durability and reliability.
