An essential part of the BlueDrive PlusC propulsion system is its variable-speed generator sets (gensets). The generators are purpose-built, brushless and synchronous, and deliver a wide range of frequencies and voltage for diesel, dual-fuel or gas-operated vessels. At all times, BlueDrive PlusC controls the engines to achieve optimal speed set points based on torque capability and most-efficient fuel consumption.
